INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP. ELECTION' OF OFFICERS. ; The annual meeting of "the Auckland District Law, Society was held yesterday, the president, ; Mr.J. Alexander, occupying the chair. '- Appreciative reference to the late Dr. , H. Dean Bamford and; Mr. W. Thome was made by the council in its annual report. The assets of the society were £13,345, including mortgages, £3900; main library, £4672; Maigstrate's Court library £987 judges' library £612; and libraries in various country centres.
