PORT OF ONEHUNGA.

THE RARAWA DELAYED. The Northern Company's steamer Barawa was unable to leave Onehunga yesterday owing to the heavy sea on the Manukau Bar. She was to have sailed for New Plymouth at 8 p.m., but will not get away now until noon to-day. Consequently her departure from New Plymouth for Onehunga has been postponed until to-morrow night. She is therefore due back at Onehunga about 9 a.m, on Sunday. At 3 p.m. the same day she will sail again fofr New Plymouth, carrying passengers for the New Plymouth band contest. No cargo will be received for the Sunday sailing. In addition to the Rarawa, the Arapawa, bound for Waikato Heads, and the Corrina, for New Plymouth, were unable to cross the bar. The two latter steamers have been delayed since Tuesday. All three are ernected to be able to leave to-day. The Ngakuta is expected to leave Wellington at noon to-day for Picton, where she will load for Onehunga.
