FIGURES FOR JANUARY. LARGE INCREASE OF IMPORTS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.' (Reed 9.5 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 12. The Board of Trade returns showthat imports in January increased by £23,199,903, exports by £3,791,959, und re-exports by £1,339,095, compared with January, 1922. The principal increases in imports were: Grain and flour, £4,708,918; meat, £3,712,098; non-dutiable food and drink, £2,360,702; raw wool, £2,104,984. The principal increases in exports were:—Coal, £1,512,281; woollen i and worsted manufactures, £1,204,387.
