The second day of the Dunedin Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting, the proceeds oi which are to be devoted to the benefit of orphanages in Dunedin, was held to-day in unpleasant weather, rain falling .for the greater part of the afternoon. The totalisator investments were £16.099 for the day. This is the first time a three days' meeting has been held for a number of years, so that no comparison of totaliaa- , tor figures can be made.
