LAND AGENT'S LICENSE.

Mr. Widdowson, S.M., Joseph. .Hamlet made application '.for. a land agent's license, but an objection against its issue was raised by Land Agents' Association. ■.< Mr.,' R. Twyneham appeared in. support of the.■'applicationThe magistrate '.£aid a report had been received from the .Land Agents' Association which expressed, the. opinion that.it was too soon after Hamlet's discharge from bankruptcy ior him to. .obtain a license. '■.'■ v ... •'■>.■ ■. ■ , ..,'■■■■ Mr., Twyneham admitted that jthere were some unusual features about the application, but Hamlet's bankruptcy was caused through a ; slump in the motor , trade. That the bankruptcy was unavoidable was shown by the fact that, the discharge * was" granted in less thai, two months from the date of the petition.
