SESSIONS AT DUNEDiN.
OPENING •ON WEDNESDAY. The annual sessions of the Senate of the University of New Zealand; commence next Wednesday at Otago University, ; Dunedin. The Auckland members are the Hon. George Fowlds, Professors A. P W. Thomas, H. S. Dettmann, H. W. Segar, and Mr. J. W. Tibbs, Mr. F. A.: d a la Hare, of Hamilton, will represent Wellington graduates. "/;; ; . ■ The Chancellor, Sir Robert Stout, will preside,- and matters of importance will be' discussed. [ The Auckland request for a full recognition of the engineering school, backed by the report ■ of the recent commission of engineers, will be considered by the ; senate.
