Rosenweig took four wickets for 58. s The Free Staters, in their second innings, scored 120, Bourke scoring 52. GilHgan took five wickets for 19. ' M.C.C. won by an innings and 35 runs. Heavy rain overnight rendered the wicket easier. The Free State bowling was weak and the sco|e was made in 87 overs. Russell's total included ten fours.
