(Reed. 7.35 p.m.) J LONDON, Jan. 11l The butter market is quiet and is rather easier, as most* buyers covered their requirements last week. New Zealand choicest is quoted at 190s to 1925, against 194s to 196s last week, and exceptionally choice at 1945, against 198s last week. Australian choice is quoted at 186s to 188s, exceptionally choice at 190s and unsalted at about 2s premium.
The cheese macket is firm. New Zealand is quoted at 130s" to 1345, against 132s last week. Australian is quoted at 126s to 128*.
"Recent arrivals of Australian eggs were in good condition. They carried well, and are fetching about 21s per 100 and 20s on a bull market. The Dorset's parcel of New Zealand eggs wan unsatisfactory. Many were broken owing to insufficient padding of the cases and some were spotted. The total wastage is estimated at .40 per cent.
