CAPRICES IN BATHING CAPS.
Every year the range of choice in bathing caps becomes wider, and nowadays no one need wear an ugly bathing cap " bo cause it is.the only kind that keeps the water out." Rubber can be obtained in almost every shade, and : water-proofed satin is a material which is most effective. A brightly hued cap worn with a bathing gown of black taffeta gives a charming note to the bathing toilette. The following are , five examples of the newest bathing caps.. The first is. of black waterproofed satin, trimmed with jado green rosettes to match the stitching on a black silk jersey suit. : Next to this is a becoming novelty in grey rubber ornamented with rose-col-oured rubber flowers with black centres. Another depicts a cap composed of orange rubberised satin with a large black (rubber) fish decorating the front and' two ends caught at the back with a black (rubber) buckle edged with orange and black. A beach bag is carried to match the cap. A bonnet shape is composed of blue rubber, with a green chin > strap, completed by white rubber daisies. Finally a tarn shape is of jazz colouring, and a long tassel shows that the tendency of the season for "floating" ends is not confined 'to millinery.
