A cablegram was received in Auckland yesterday asking for a contest at Sydney between J. Keenan, of Auckland,' and Hughie Dwyer, professional light-weight champion of Australia. i The offer was accepted, arid Keenan will leave shortly for Sydney. The contest will take . place at the Sydney Stadium on February 10.' BOWLING, GILMORE CUP COMPETITION. The Papatoetoe Bowling, won tho first match of this season for - the Gilmore Cup by defeating Howick on the Howick green. There was a large number of players and visitors. Mr. J. W.
