DARGAVILLE CLUB'S MEETING i TO-MORROW'S PROGRAMME. Everything augurs well for the success of the Dargaville Racing Club's Meeting to he held at Ellerslie and it should only require fine -weather 'to ensure a capital afternoon's sport. The first event is timed to be started about noon; and the programme will be run off in the following order: — Horehore Hurdle Race .Handicap, one and three-quarter miles; Ruawai Handicap, six furlongs; Hobson Handicap, six furlongs; Finlayson Handicap, five - furlongs; Dargaville Cud Handicap, seven furlongs;; Awakino Stakes Handicap, seven furlongs; Tangihua Handicap, one mile; Northern Wairoa Welter Handicap, one mile. ELLERSLIE TRAINING NOTES. '"■ BY ARCHEB. The weather was beautifully fine and the tracks were in good order for training operations at Ellorslie yesterday morning. The outside of the course proper was available, and the bulk of the fast work was registered on that track. COURSE PROPER. Emerald Hill and Golden Glass were first out, galloping half-a-mile in. 525. the former easily disposing of his companion, who sot a little break at the start. Broadwood traversed a round but tired over the concluding furlong. He covered the first two furlongs in 28s. three furlongs in 41s. half-mile in 53 3-ss. and the full distance in 2m 2 3-sa. Nocturne held a slight advantage over Marble 801 l at the end of five furlongs in lm 7s. ■ Dancing Doll easily defeated Electrode over five furlongs from the new post in lm 5 3-ss.
