LABOUR IN THE SENATE. i THREE S. AUSTRALIAN SEATS A. and N.Z. ADELAIDE, Jan. 10. Mr. C. S. McHugh and Mr. J. V. O'Loghlin (Labour) have been elected to the Senate. This gives all three South Australian seats to Labour. A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE, Jan. 10 .Mr. J. Barnes (Labour) secured the second Senate seat for Victoria. PERTH, Jan. 10. Mr. C. M. Graham (Labour), and Mr. J. F. Allan (Nationalist), won the two remaining Senate seats for Western Australia. Two of the three retiring South Australian Senators who have lost their seaits were Liberal Unionists and the third a National Progessive. . MR. HUGHES' RETICENCE. CONSTITUENTS DISAPPOINTED. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Jan. 10. After the declaration of the r North Sydney poll, it was expected that Mr. W. M. Hughes would announce his political intentions, but he disappointed his followers by his colourless speech.
