The Auckland ' Cricket Association's competitions wjll :be continued next Saturday. At a meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Aesociatioil last evening it 'was that the Canterbury centre be requested to invite Buckhuret and other young Canterbury athletes to meet the. LAUNCH'S; RUN TO/ JTAURANGA.

[BY. telegraph.— /CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA, Tuesday. The Swiftsure is ; the latest addition to the local fleet of launches,- this vessel having been purchased in Auckland last week by J. Bruns. A party left Auckland in the Swiftsure on Saturday evening. After ; reaching Ostend the vessel anchored. for about five hours, and the journey to Tauranga was resumed at midnight. Good weather was experienced and the Swiftsure i reached port at 9.30 on Sunday evening.
