RURAL LAND SALES.
REVIVAL IN THE WAIKATO. [81 -.. TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] PUTARURU. Tuesday. 1 With the return of general prosperity a revival of activity in land and estate business in the Waikato is apparent. One well-known Waikato firm is reported : to have effected within the last few weeks six sales of property, whereas for some considerable time previous it had concluded no transaction land.
A local firm has recently negotiated ■ three important land, sales, One'was the sale of Mr. B. Murdock's well-known farm of 390 acres at Lichfield to Messrs. Diamond Bros. ..More recently the - sale was . effected of 203 acres adjoining the Salvation Army farm at Putaruru to Messrs. Nicholson and Little, formerly of Okoroireu The third transaction is one which, it is predicted, should have an important bearing .-on the progress of the town of Pataruru, a Hamilton syndicate having acquired 70 acres of the Oraka farm, Potaruru, fronting the Tirau Bead, for subdivision and salo in residential allotments:
