PROPOSED PEACE TERMS.

By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrieht. A. and N.Z. ,f LONDON, Jan. 7. A writer in Freeman's Journal who claims to have been in communication with the supporters of De Valera, says that immediate peace is possible if Mr. W. T. Cosgrave will accept the following terms: De Valera 'to select three buildings in which will bo placed all the arms' and ammunition of the Republicans, under a guard of fifty Republicans and ten Free State- soldiers; a guarantee to be given to-deliver up the arms to the. President to be selected after the general election which shall lake place not later than May; hostilities to cease immediately; all prisoners to be released immediately, and after three weeks any person found with arms or ammunition in his possession to be executed within 24 hours; the press, censorship to be abolished, and De Valera and his followers -.to be allowed to move about without molestation; the Republicans to assist in making the new register of voters; any Republican willing to abide by the' result of the general election to be: eligible -for employment or office under the Free State Government aid under the Government to be elected in May.
