WATERSIDE WORKERS.
FEDERATION CONFERENCE.,
The annual conference of the New Zealand Waterside Workers' Federation Opened in Auckland yesterday. Mr. L. Glover presided, and delegates .were present from many of the New Zealand Waterside Workers' Unions. It- is expected that within a day or two every waterside union in the Dominion will be represented. " . :;:■••;' The president, Mr. L. Glover, addressed the meeting, dealing in his speech with the work of the past year, and with the probable future of waterfront labour. The secretary's report was presented later. The Conference resumes this morning.
