MRS. A. ROBERTSON'S DEATH.

ROTORUA. Friday. The death is announced of Mrs. Ann Robertson, aged 98 years.
Mrs. Robertson left Liverpool for Australia in 1831, where she was 'mamed. With her husband and family, she arrived afc Auckland in the ship Thomas Fletcher, in 1864, at first living in tents at Onehunga. In February, 1880, she camo to Rotorua, being the first white woman to visit the R:.tomahana terraces. Mrs. Robertson retained her vigour of mind and body up to six months ago. One son, Mr. E. Robertson, of Rotorua, and three married daughters, survive their mother.
