The match between Pretoria and the M.CC. team was continued in hot •weather. The M.C.C. eleven in the first innings declared at seven for 338 (Brown 16, Mann 8, Stevens 24 not out, Kennedy 3 not out). Miller took three wickets for 65. Pretoria in their second innings scored 116 (Broderick 43). Macaulay took six -wickets for 18 runs, and took the last four wickets in ono over for no runs. M.CC. thus won by an innings and 77 runs.
