SOLID TYPE PREFERRED.
WIRE-BOUND SATISFACTORY.
Australian and N.Z. Cabl* Associfttion. (Reed. 5.35 p.m.) LONDON. Deo. 14.
A representative of an Australian butler shipping company asked the Home and Foreign Produce Exchange for the • opinion of the butter trade regarding •wire-bound boxes. The exchange replied that the matter had been carefully considered by all sections of the trade. They preferred a solid type of box, but appreciated the fact that owing to the difficulties of Australian shippers in securing Buitable -wood the nee of this type was impossible. The trade, however, agreed that the wire-bound box had proved satisfactory. Batter traders noted with satisfaction that double papering has been adopted, and considered it imperative that it should become the general practice.
