DISTANCE OF TWO MILES. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] WANGANUI. Friday. An eleven-year-did girl named M. Barton, the daughter of Mr. Barton, S.M., put up a great swimming performance to-day, covering over two miles in the school distance swimming test. She kept a regular pace all the way v and she had to be stopped. She was quate fresh when she finished, and could easily have gone another mile. Another little girl, Qwen. Eggloton, swam lj miles*
