CHRISTCHURCH WOOL SALE. FURTHER PRICE RECORDS. [BY TELEGHAPII. —PRESE ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHCKCH, Friday. Tho wool sale concluded this morning, ■whim 4500 bales were offered. In the earier part the buoyancy of overnight was well maintained for all M.erino and super halfbred wools, but toward the close there was a slight easing for medium halfbred and three-quarter-bred wool 3, due in a measure, as far as halfbreds were cobcerned, to local mills having largely filled supplies for the time being. Passings were somewhat more frequent in the. final catalogue, but in the aggregate they represented a very small proportion. Over the whole sale, the advance compared with the November market was from ljd to 2£d on Merino, Id to 2d on half-bred, Id to l|d on three-quarter-bred, Id to ljjd on medium crossbred, Id to l£d on coarse crossbred, and Id to 2£d on pieces. New records set up :in the concluding portion of tho sale were 17jjd for crossbred, 24£ d for Down, and 21£ d for three-quarter-bred. As far as. pure wool prices are concerned, the sale is the best ever ,held in the province.
