A HINT FOR SMOKERS.

However bravely the housewife may assure her husband and his friends that, she does not care how many cigars or pipes of strong tobacco they smoke ir,i her rooms, she has to be rather higher than the angels not to be annoyed by the odour of stale tobacco the next morning. A housewife who has learnt by experience says that by taking a simple precaution the menfolk may enjoy their pipes and cigars without offending the most susceptible nostrils the day after. If the last thing at night a large bowl of cold water is placed in the room where the smoking has been done, and if all the tobacco ash and cigar ends are removed at the same time, the odour of stale smoke will be gone in the morning, completely flhßoxbed l»y tMi E«A?«.
