A BABY SUFFOCATED.
VERDICT OF MISADVENTURE.
Through the bed-clothes getting over its mouth, a baby named George Fletcher was suffocated on Thursday morning. Th» parents of the child live at Ethel Street, Mount Eden, and at the inquest, held at the morgue yesterday, it was stated that the baby was quite well on Wednesday night at 10 p.m., when it was fed It slept with the mother in a double bed, and was found dead on Thursday morning. Dr. Fullerton stated that he had held a postmortem examination ajid found that death was dun* to suffocation. The verdict was that death was caused by suffocation, due tp misadTentuM,
