ACTIVITIES AT ROTORUA. The joint committee of the ■> British. Red Cross Society and the Order of St. John met yesterday, the Mayor, Mr. J. H. Gunson, presiding. ' The sub-committee appointed to visit Rotorua and mak« arrangements for the taking.over by the societies of . the Y.M.C.A. work and equipment iafc tin* King George Hospital reported that the equipment was in e:taeUent v order.~ It was decided to carry on rthe_ work, on mucin the same lines as previously. It was stated that the Y.M.O.A. had done*much toward providing recreation and, facilities for study for the military patients in the hospital. The equipment included. a billiard table:and.several pianos. '*' '.
