Notice is hereby given that at a Special i Meeting of the Otamatea County Council i hold on THURSDAY, the 12th day of Octo- • ber. 1922, it was resolved by way of Special \ Order that the Otamatea County Council ; make By-laws, under the provisions $f " The Counties Act. 1920," and " The Public Works Act. 1908." the object and purport of such By-laws being as follows:— ' 1. To provide for the licensing: of motor vehicles not plying for hire. 2. To make amendments to the County By-law No. 2 by amending the license fees payable for tho licensing of motor vehicles plying for hire. 3. To make amendment!! to the County By-law of 1911 dealing, inter alia, with guarding and protecting the county roads against damage by heavy traffic, by fixing yearly license fees for vehicles engaged in heavy traffic. i The said resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the : Otamatea County Council to be held on THURSDAY, the 23rd day of November, 1922, at 11 a.m., at the Council Chambers, Paparoa..
