FIRE BRIGADE SOCIAL.
SERVICE HONOURS PRESENTED. The City Fire Brigade'is annual social ; and presentation of service honours was held at.-the central station on Monday : evening, and proved a most successful ;■ gathering. McDonald, 15 years, W. Partly, 9 years; Firemen DKelleher, 15 years, E. Hodgson, 9 years, ; H. Rouse. 9 years; Au:rißary Firemen E. Moore, 21 years, A. Saudull, 21 years, A. Donald, 17 years, B, Walker, 15 years, A. Stewart, 13 years, A. Cordon, 11 year*} 0. Fitzsimmons, 9 years, T. Dickson, 8 y«sars, F. D. Brady, 7 yoars; Chauffeurs C. Woolley, 15 years, T. Beach, 7 y*am Three yea-s' certificates were presented to Fireman R McKfiy, Chauiteufs W. ■ ■ Hills and R. Skinner j and Auxiliary Firemen A. Neall and E. Hay ward. Two modal!» donated to members of the fire brigade football team were also presented, E. Herring gaining that for the best forward, and W. McClure that for : the best back.
