ANOTHER BUSY DAY.
FOUR MORE NEW BiLLS. SEVERAL MEASURES PASSED AMENDMENTS IN COMMITTEE [l;i: TELEGRAPH. —SPECIAL REPORTER.] WELLINGTON. Tuesday. 'Four more new Bills were introduced in the House of Representatives to-day. The first of these, the Dairy Industry Amendment Bill, relating to dairy factory overrun, was read a second time pro forma. Tho Crimes Amendment Bill, the Cemeteries Amendment Bill, and the Rating Amendment Bill Tfere read a first time. The Land Laws Amendment Bill was considered in Committee, and reported with amendments. Tho Electric Power Boards Amendment Bill was also further considered in Committee, when a number of important amendments were introduced. Tho Bill was then passed. Tho amendments made in Committee in tho Land Laws Amendment Bill and the Pharmacy Amendment Bill wera agreed to, and these, Bilhi were also passed. The Judicature Amendment Bill, the Hamilton Domains Bill, and the Incorporated Societies Amendment Bill were passed before tha House rose at 11.30 p.m.
The Post and Telegraph Amendment Bill, the State Fire Insurance Amendment Bill, the War Disabilities Removal Bill, and the Amusement Tax Bill were passed by tho Legislative Council. The Sea Carriage of Goods Bill was amended in regard to bills of lading, and was then passed.
