CRYSTALATE CUP FINAL. The Crystalate Cup championship was con luded last evening, the winner being X,. V. Roberts, who won the. cup last year and ha« this year won the £>ew championship. Roberts carried hie unamshed break of 16 to 35, making him 519 against Masßey's 270. The latter proved no match for his opponent, who continued to increase h's lead at every visit. Maesey micaed some essy shots. ?nd Roberts delighted the. spectators with clean ill-round cannons, winning hazards, and top-of-the-table play. He ran to his points of 1000 with Maesey at, 720. The winner made breaks oE 35. 23, di, -l. 34. 36. 51. and 28, and «?»«# over 10 for the 1000. Massey made 42. 27. 30, 23. 25, 26 24 and 23. Mr- H. Beesley presented the cup to Roberts, and complimented him on his victory.
