TITIRANGI CHURCH FUND.
A largely-attended entertainment in aid of the , funds of the proposed Titi■rangi fallen soldiers' interdenominational memorial church was held on Saturday evening in the district tea kiosk, which was lent for the occasion by Mr. W. A. Bishop. A large number of young people from the Ponsonby Road Church of Christ were taken out in a charabanc by Mr. H. C. Perkins, and an excellent programme was provided by the visitors. A quantity of confectionery, presented by the Misses Perkins, was sold bj' auction by Mr. E. A. Perkins in aid of the fund. At the close of the concert the visitors were entertained at supper by the ladies of the district.
