LAND FOR SETTLEMENT.
AUCKLAND BOARD'S BALLOT. A ballot for sections recently opened for selection was held by the Auckland Land Board yesterday. The successful applicants were as follow:— Section 19, Waihou, 107 acres, J. Kerin, Mount Eden; section 36, Tuhua, 10 acres, P. Sherwen, Oruaiwi; section 5, Orongo, 48 acres, F. W. Epps, Mangatarata. Sections 12, Mangaorongo, and 37, Orongo, were not allotted.
