It is stated on good authority that a, deputation of English, Dutch, a-nd German settlers from all parts of the South-west Protectorate will wait on General Smuts shortly for the purpose of impressing the desirability of South-west Africat becoming part of the Union. It is stated that all sections are tired of mandate rule, on the ground of insecurity and lack of representation, and because they realise that the whole future of the territory is bound up with the Union.
