THE AUCKLAND CLUB. Thirty-seven couples took part in a fourball best-ball bogey competition played by the Auckland Golf Club on the Middlemore links on Saturday. The links were in firstclass order. The following were the results:—S. A. Carr and J. J. Kingston. 8 up; A. M. Howden and P. T. Upton, 7 up; J. Hellaby and H. Hanna. 6 up; J. Macky and S. Hanna. <3 up; H. P. Richmond and E. Horton. 6 up; H. L. Rees and Dr. triedlander, 5 up THE MAUNGAKIEKIE CLUB, The third rour,d of the. Gardner Cup was played by the Maungakiekie Club at the Titirangi links. New Lynn, on Saturday, and resulted in a win for T. A. Colliding US), whose best two cards were 93 and 95. Kr. r. Gunson (11) was second with 83 and 92. The niedaJ handicap played in conjunction with the Gardner Cup was won by F. a. Ballin with a card of S6. 14—72. The other best cards were: J. O. Gardner, 9s, 18—75; H. B. Anderson. 100. 23-77; T. A. Goulding, 95. 18—77: H. Fraser, 85. 7—78; G. C. St. George, 96, 18—78. and P. Harrison, 103 22 81. A* four-ball bogey handicap wae played at the Maungakiekie links, One Tree Hill, and was won by M. E. Ward (9), and Dr. Walton (13). 2 up. The other best cards were: M. Shroff (11), and N. G. Morris (12), 1 up: F. Trice (5). and Dr. Parkes (13). 1 up: F. H. Mingay (7). and J. A. Thomson (15). all square; B. J. Hamilton (4). and F. D. Holdsworth (14). 1 down, and F. E. Lamb (8), and R. M. Tolhurst (13).. 2 down. MAUNGAKIEKIE LADIES' CLUB. The following is the draw for the C Grade match to be played by the Maungakiekie Ladies' Club on Wednesday at the Maunga,kiekio links. One Tree Hill:—Mrs. Towsey plays Miss Cousins, Miss Patorson plays Mrs. Sale, Mrs. Thomas plays Miss Johnton. Miss M. Fouhy plays Miss Heywood. A bogey handicap will be played on Wednesday at, the Maungakiekie links, for a prize presented by Mrs. Ridings. Players will choose their own partners. ROTORUA LADY CHAMPION. [BX TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ROTORUA, Saturday. The ladios' golf championship, final was played this afternoon between Misses Snodgrase and Booth, and resulted in a win for Miss Snodgrass. The game was followed with the keenest interest. The players opened somewhat weakiy, but the winner showed superiority in play and drew steadily away, the game ending in her favour by 8 up and 6 to play.
