HEAD FIRST INTO WATER. IRON BARS MISSED. Times. " LONDON. Sopt. 8. While repairing the highest chimney stack in Glasgow, George Armstrong fell 90ft.. head first, into a tank of water, completely missing the stout iron bars guarding the tank sot a yard apart. ■
He received minor injuries, but as a result of concussion his condition is serious.
