AUSTRALIAN TOPS THE LIST.
LONDON, Aug. 26. ■ A further instance .of the aptitude of Australians for the air was afforded by WuVCommander Goble, of Melbourne, who for the marine observer s course took two months instead of seven, and topped the list of candidates. Ho obtained honours in seven subjects, securing 99 or 100 per cent, of the possible marks. The subjects included wireless telegraphy, meteorology, Bignals, and navigation.
