M.P.'S AND LAWSUIT.
POSSESSION OF PREMISES. [BX TSLBQBAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION 1 WELLINGTON. Wednesday. Four members'of Parliament have been involuntarily involved in litigation. A Mrs. Evans brought a suit against the Rev. Robegtson Orr for possession of premises, and obtained damages. She then instituted further proceedings for loss during the time she was kept out of the place. Messrs. Bitchener, Burnett, J. B. and A. Hamilton were staying in the house, and as soon as the verdict was obtained they received notice to quit by the following Monday. Two of them were out of Wellington at the time, and did not return until the notice had expired, but the notice stated that if they did not leave they would be joined in a new action against defendant. As members of Parliament have certain privileges of immunity during the holding of the sassion some interesting developments are expected.
