WHAKATANE. Wednesday
A further consignment of 28,000 trout fry, of which some 5000 were brown ami the remainder rainbow trout, were liberated in the Waimana River on Tuesday by the ranger of the Jlotorua Acclimatisation District. This completes the quota for the Whakatane District, a total of 54,000 fry having been liberated this season. Good, fishing in the district in the near future should therefore bo assured.
