Notice is hereby given thai the.Whangamarino Road Board proposes %o raise, under the provisions of the Local /"Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and its amendments, a Special Loan of £14110, for the purpose of Reforming and Metalling 135 chains, more or ■ less, or Lake Road, situated in Blocks XVI.,, Maramarua, and XIH, Piako Survey Districts. The proposed security for payment of interest and principal, and other charges, is a Special Rate of 2 S-16th of a penny in the pound (£), on the capital value of all ratable property in the Lakte Road Special Rating Area, and it is intended to pay out of Loan the first year's interest and sinking fund. The Loan is for a period of 36J years, at a rate of interest of £4 10s per centum per annum, with an additional charge to provide for repayment of principal. The Special Racing Area is contained within a boundary starting at the, northwest corner of Section 396, Parish of Whangamarino, and following the western boundaries of Sections 396, 323, 525, and 241, Block XVL, Maramarua Survey District, and 242, Block XIII., Piako Survey District, 'and 211, Block 1., Hapuakohe Survey District, to the southern boundary of Whangamarino Road District, thence east along said boundary to junction with Lot i, of Section 279; thence a straight line through Section 440—Crown land—to the south-eaßt corper of Section 446: thence along eastern and north-western boundary of Section 446 to Waikiekie Stroam, and following the course of said stroam to the To Kauwhata-Waerenga Main Road: thence west along said road to the point of commencement. . ■ ... . ■ ' The Special Rating Area comprises Sections 396. 328. 320. 321, 323, Block XVI..
