Important conferences organised by the .. National Association for the Prevention of Infant Mortality and the National Baby Week Council wore lield recently in London, the of the meetings being the promotion of infant welfare. The London conferences are a reflection of what is going on in some centre or other all the year round. The dominating idea of these movements is not only that the baby is the greatest asset of the nation, bnt that the infant and the young ohild have inalienable rights which should be secured to them, however adverse are the circumstances of birth.
