ThurudairThe customs and excise duties collected at the chief ports during the quarter ended June 30, xojs2, were as followß :— Customs : Auckland, £370,615: Wellington, £349.299: Lvttelton, £193,405; Dunedin, £139,215. The total for the Domtinion was £1,208,383, compared with £1,371,535 in the corresponding quarter of last year. Excise : Auckland, £36,473: Wellington, £20,272; Lyttelton, £24,753; Dunedin, £48,492. The total for the Dominion wa a £162,849. compared with £95,109 in tho corresponding quarter of last year.
