TO-DAY?S FORECAST.

GOVERNMENT BEPOItT.

The Government meteorologist reported last night as follows:—Present indications Are for moderate to strong westerly and south-westerly winds, with cloudy and unsettled weather and rain in many parts. The barometer is unsteady with a falling tendency.

MR. 0. L. WBAGGE'S FORECAST. The following weather forecast was supplied to us by Mr. Clement L. Wraggo at 7.15 p.m. yesterday:—Conditions remain favourable for further showery and unsettled weather, especially in the south and on the east coast districts, south from East Cape, under the influence of tbe rear aide of tbe disturbance Nahalal, but as high pressure appears to be approaching from the lower latitudes of the Tasman Seav an improvement should shortly be noticed in northern parte, extending southward later. Winds between west-north-west and south-west. Sea moderating.
