EGG-LAYING CONTEST.

RESULTS AT MOUNT ALBERT.

18th WEEK'S PRODUCTION. The eighteenth, week of the . Auckland Poultry-keepers' Association's fourth ernglre pen and team egg-laying competition ended 1 on Monday. The heavy and light breed sections showed an increase of production over the previous week, while the ducks' total was lower. The 72 teams of heavy breeds laid 957 eggs, the 72 teams of light breeds 874, and the 24 teams of ducks 348, * total ' of 2179 for the 604 individual birds. : In individuals, S. H. Scott's No. 2 Indian Runner, leads with 116 eggs; in the heavy breeds, It. B. Cruickshank's No- 2 in his No. 1 team, and G. H. Shaw's No. 1 Black Orpington, tie for first place with,' 111 eggs each: in the light breeds. R. J. Roberta' No. 2 in his No. 1 team of "Whit© Leghorns, leads with 96 eggs.
