KILLED BY A TRAIN.

EVIDENCE AT INQUEST. [by telegraph. PRESS association..] WELLINGTON. Wednesday. At the inquest into the circumstances under which Harry Fry, a patient at the Trentham Military Hospital, recently met his death, the evidence was to the effect that the deceased had been temporary unbalanced, but had recovered. The guard ha,d been removed when Fry became normal. The deceased had accompanied a visitor to the camp feo the railway station at Trentham. There was nothing strange in his manner. The driver of the train said that when he approach**! the signals were against Wie train, which necessitated the whistle being blown frequently. The deceased was standing near the train close to a carriage, which was on the side track. As the train drew near he attempted to cross and rushed over the line. The train struck him just as he reached the other side. The inquest was adjourned.
