ADJUDICATED BANKRUPT.

AN ACCOUNTANT'S AFFAIRS. A petition to have Ewuglas Stuart Wylie, accountant, Auckland (Mr- R. P. Hunt), declared a bankrupt, wa*he«rd in I the Supreme Court yesterday before 'Mr. Justice Stringer. , The -grounds'of .the petition were that Wylie left New Zealand with intent to ' delay his creditors in securing payment of i moneyo due to them by him. The defence was that Wylie had gone ' abroad for health reasons, and that it was not his intention to delay payments. Counsel also urged that Wyhe's asset* it Auckland were equal to mating ail hii liabilities, and therefore •there was nc justification for the petition.
