TRADE WITH IRELAND.
"SPLENDID OPPORTUNITY." ] INQUIRY FROM DUBLIN. The Department of Industries and Commerce has received a communication from an importer and exporter in Dublin, who seeks direct trade between New Zealand and Ireland- The letter is as follows: — ''Direct trading with Ireland: I take tha liberty to write you to know if you would be bo kind to refer me to manufacturers, producers, and exporters who •wish to do direct trade with Ireland for their commodities. "Now that the Irish nation is forming a Government to Uck after it» own affaire, a splendid opportunity for traders in your country is at hand for direct trading with Ireland. "All class of commodities can find a ready market here, but produce goods y are naturally more saleable, and it is the latter I am moist anxious about. If Irish manufactured goods or any, class of produce is required in your country, arrangements can be made to supply direct from Ireland the most f essential commodities. "There is a very largo demand for your butter here. I am anxious to establish direct trade with this coun- - try."
