DISPUTE OVER SHARES.
PLAINTIFFS NON-SUITED.
A claim was made in the Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., by the Waotu Timber Company and J. A. Noonan (Mr. Biernacki) against T. F. Loug (Mr. Munro), for the sum of £37 6s 6d. This amount was alleged to be owing to the plaintiffs as it was the amount received by the defendant from the sale of 17 shares transferred to the defendant by the plaintiffs by mistake. After much evidence had been heard relating to the alleged transfer of certain shares of the company, the magistrate said he would have to support the contention of the defendant, that there was really no cause of action. Plaintiffs were non-suited with costs.
