MISSING- STEAMER.
FATE OF THE QUITO. CREW PICKED UP AT SEA. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Aug. 11. The whole of the 28 members of the crew of the missing steamer Quito were nicked Hip at sea. They landed at Bremerhaven, on the Weser estuary, today. Grave fears were entertained regarding the fate of the .British steamer Quito (3256 tons), which was reported to be sinking fast on 'Monday night, 150 miles off the Tyne, after striking an obstruction. Further efforts to establish wireless communication with the vessel failed.
