It is now officially stated that the &rnbuianco has boon granted for To Knit i . by the Waikato Hospital Board, and will placed iierc very shortly. A meeting of the public intorested in the proposed war memorial was held in 'he Municipal Hall, and an old controversy was brought to finality. Tt was Decided that the memorial be in the nature of a cenotaph, and that it be erected on the Esplanade.
