MAGISTRATE'S DECISION UPHELD. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. J WELLINGTON. Friday. The Chief Justice has delivered ju3g : ment in the opium cases, Hing Fun and Git Ton- His Honor, after summing up the evidence produced before the Magistrate's Court, and after reviewing the arguments of counsel in the Supreme Court, dismissed the appeals, thereby sustaining the convictions and finesvimposea by the magistrate.
