WRECK OF THE WILTSHIRE.

THE QUESTION OF SALVAGE. EXPERT NOW IN AUCKLAND. Mr. G. C. Wright, of Brisbane, representative of the London Salvage Association, arrived in Auckland yesterday morning. After consulting with Lloyd's agent*, Mr. Wright will visit the wreck of the steamer Wiltshire at the Great Barrier to make an inspection,.with a view to reporting on the possibility of recovering any portion of the cargo now in the vessel. The members of the Wiltshire's crew at the Sailors' Home spent yesterday in practising football in preparation for their match with a team of returned soldiers in the Victoria Park, at 3 o'clock this afternoon. In the evening Mr. J. Rimmer and a party entertained the men in the Mission Hall.
