Stevenson declared that he had not lost form, but the storm of points made by Walter iindnun was disconcerting, as it gave him no chance to Ret in. He thought Lindrum might have less recourse to tbe losing hazard. "He gives me no chance, as I am not a red player." Stevenson added. "In England, as showmen, we are compelled to give the public a more diversified game, hence litt'e time has been devoted to the red loser for a long time."
